For now, all the details about the superyacht, which is the largest vessel ever built by the Italian shipyard, are kept under wraps
The construction of the superyacht currently named Platinum started back in 2019, so the sea trials that she is undergoing now are the vessel’s first public appearance.
Platinum’s exterior design was penned by Igor Lobanov studio, and her profile bears some resemblance to the 110.1-metre Jubilee superyacht (now Kaos) built by Oceanco and unveiled in 2017. It refers mainly to the unusual, “sculptural” profile with long overhangs.
The four decks of the yacht feature a large infinity pool aft, a helipad on the foredeck, a sunlit and well-appointed sundeck with a bar and sunpads, as well as ample exterior areas with lounges and bars aft. It is also interesting to note that the cuts in the upper decks’ overhangs allow more natural light to reach the spaces located below.
There is not much information about the interiors at present. It is known that they are owed to Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design, while the naval architecture was entrusted to Azure Yacht Design & Naval Architecture.
Based on the provisional data, the superyacht’s top speed will be 16 knots, and the expected cruising speed is 14.5 knots.
Platinum’s delivery is scheduled for the end of this summer, when the sea trials are complete.
