Italian Azimut shipyard is to present their flagship 29.63-metre model from Magellano series for the first time. The debut is scheduled for the Miami Boat Show held on 14-18 February 2024

Azimut Magellano 30M crossover with an original, ‘timeless’ exterior developed by renowned American designer Ken Freivokh stands out for a vertical bow, a powerful ‘muscular’ profile, protected footpaths and expansive glass surfaces (over 70 square metres).

The idea of the furnishings crafted by designer and architect Vincenzo De Cotiis was to allow the guests focus on admirig the views with nothing in the way, as well as let natural light fill the interior without any obstacles. One of the unique features of the design from De Cotiis Architects is the use of fiberglass, which was born out of the designer’s intention to use conventional materials, transforming them in a surprisingly noble way.

There are five cabins for 10 guests, as well as crew quarters for five. The raised pilot house provides space for a master cabin on the main deck forward, as well as makes it easy for the captain to move freely from the main to the upper helm on the flybridge.

The Dual Mode hull designed by P.L. Ausonio Naval Architecture together with Azimut R&D Department offers maximum efficiency both in a displacement mode and at higher speeds. With a beam of 7 metres and a length of 29.63 metres the Magellano 30M interior volume is 199 GT. The yacht with a draft of 2.03 metres is powered by twin MAN engines 1550 hp each that provide a top speed of 20 knots and a cruising speed of 16 knots.

Apart from the Magellano 30M world premiere, Azimut is planning an American debut for the Fly 72. The Italian shipyard will also exhibit Fly 53, Fly 68, Magellano 60, Verve 48, S7 and Grande Trideck.
