French Beneteau shipyard has unveiled the new 17.3-metre Swift Trawler 54 model
The Swift Trawler range offers trawler type motor yachts for extended and comfortable cruising. With a length of just over 17 metres, the Swift Trawler 54 boasts modern design, elegant finishes with lots of detailing, as well as an excellent balance of indoor and outdoor spaces.
The ample saloon is divided into three areas: a living room at the entrance, a galley and a dining room. The helm is located amidships, which is convenient for maneuvering.
The second helm station is on the flybridge (in the centre, too), where there is also a dining area with a convertible table, a bar with a sink, a fridge and a grille.
The “Silent Boat” option allows for up to 10 hours at anchor without the need to run the generator. The lithium battery bank charged by solar batteries provides energy for all the onboard systems. To accommodate the panels there is a stationary T-top over the flybridge, but in this case there is no opening sunroof.
There are two more exterior areas: an aft cockpit and a foredeck. There are three cabins below deck, two heads and a stowage room, where one can accommodate a washing and a drying machine, which are quite handy during long voyages.
The “Fusion” hull form from Dixon Yacht Design and the latest fins ensure comfortable navigation and excellent all-round handling. According to Beneteau, the price for the standard Swift Trawler starts from 1 125 000 euro.
