The launch of the vessel built for an experienced owner, who was actively involved in all the stages of the project, took place in November 2024
The Tremenda’s exterior looks quite different from the vessels built by the Italian shipyard earlier. A high, almost vertical bow, strict and laconic lines are all owed to designer Giorgio M. Cassetta, who worked on the yacht’s exterior.
The Tremenda offers numerous exterior lounges, including her open aft section with a beach club, while broad side walkways make it easy to move about the vessel.
There are exterior lounges and dining areas aft and on the sundeck, while there is a storage space for a tender and water toys forward, where there is also a crane for launching them.

Thanks to the larger windows and glass doors the interior spaces on the main and upper decks are connected with the outdoor areas, as well as with the sea, which was vitally important for the owner and was one of the main design requirements.
“Building this fully custom explorer yacht has been both a complex and rewarding endeavour. Tremenda encapsulates CdM's core values – vision, character, and true ocean-going capability," said Vasco Buonpensiere, the yard’s CEO.
As for accommodation, the vessel can sleep up to 10 guests across four cabins below deck and a master suite on the main deck forward. The owner’s suite features two bathrooms for him and for her, a dressing room and a private lounge. The internal volume of the yacht is approximately 460 GT.
As a genuine expedition vessel, the Tremenda got a reliable steel hull and a superstructure of aluminium. She is powered by twin MAN V12 engines of 1400 hp each, which can deliver a top speed of 14.5 knots, while the range of 4000 nautical miles will enable the owner to avoid the beaten tracks and enjoy long-range expeditions.
