The second Aviator 10K unit boasts a number of features like a flybridge with a hi-lo helm station, an all-season cockpit that can be totally enclosed with a tent, and special equipment for underwater hunting
The second hull has put on almost 600 kg due to the appearance of the flybridge, special equipment for water hunting and an increase in fuel capacity up to 1000 litres (two tanks of 500 litres each). However, it has not influenced the top speed: during the sea trial the catamaran managed to reach a maximum speed of over 65 km/h.
As opposed to the first hull, the flybridge 10K version features a couple of more powerful 250 hp Honda BF 250 D outboard engines (the previous one was powered by twin 200 hp Suzuki APX engines). The profile lines have become smoother, as the yard has recently opted for bending, rather than welding aluminium used for the hull and the superstructure.
The new video demonstrates all the areas of the catamaran, as the co-owner of the yard, Alexander Galkin, gives a detailed account of all the details of the first flybridge unit construction. The sea trials of the catamaran were held in the waters of the Volga river not far from Samara.
