First Doge 400 GT unit by Ocean King to debut at Cannes
Ocean King is based in Venice and is best known for building steel displacement superyachts
The new 40.37-metre Doge 400 GT features explorer-style exterior, which was penned by Design A lot studio. The naval architecture is owed to Italian inNave, while the “standard” interiors come Margini Architects.
The first Doge 400 GT unit named Lori was built for an Italian owner and launched in July 2024 года. The yacht can accommodate 10 passengers. The master suite with a private study is located on the main deck forward, and there are four guest cabins and crew quarters for seven below deck.
The key highlight of the main deck is probably the spacious saloon with floor-to-ceiling windows that leads to an exterior lounge and al fresco dining area (as an option there can also be an infinity pool). The formal dining area is quite unusually located on the upper deck. Other exterior areas on board are a sundeck with a bar and a pool, as well as a large beach club with two fold-out terraces and a separate room that might be used as a gym.
The yacht boasts two garages. The one for a large tender is actually the beach club when it is not in use and the yacht is under way. The second one is located under the foredeck.
With twin MAN engines the Doge 400 GT can reach a top speed of 16 knots and a crusing speed of 13. At 10 knots the yacht has a range of 5500 nautical miles with a fuel capacity of 55000 litres. At a speed that is eight knots lower the range will go up to 7000 nautical miles. The second Doge 400 GT unit is currently in build.
