Greenline Yachts to unveil new Greenline 58 Fly Hybrid at Cannes Festival
At the Cannes Festival the yard’s flagship will be showcasing its latest developments and technologies, as well as introducing the concept of responsible yachting to the visitors
Th Greenline 58 Fly Hybrid features the latest hybrid H-Drive propulsion, developed in-house. According to the shipyard, its latest 6G version is far more efficient than the previous ones, and will allow Greenline 58 Fly Hybrid to cover up to 20 nautical miles in a silent electric mode with speeds up to 6 knots. The cut in harmful emissions will be about 40% a year compared to a typical use cycle.
There will be 4kW solar panels on the roof, which will provide energy for the hotel mode and increase the range. However, their main goal is to allow the guests do without switching on noisy generators at anchor, which will give them up to three days at anchor even with the air conditioning system on.
“Greenline Yachts’s new 6G H Drive draws on 16 years of constant development. We’ve been in this game since our launch, so our yachts are miles ahead of the competition when it comes to efficient hybrid propulsion and silent hotellerie. We’re excited to be showcasing the technology alongside our concept of Responsible Yachting at Cannes through our flagship model: the Greenline 58 Fly Hybrid”, said owner and MD Vladimir Zinchenko.
In addition to the flagship, the yard's line-up at the festival will include the Greenline 48 Coupe and the Greenline 45 Fly, which are available with a range of engine options that include Yanmar’s new HVO-ready diesels.
