Italian WiderCat 92 premiere at Venice Boat Show 2024
The WiderCat 92 is a 28-metre catamaran designed by the in-house Centro Stile Wider and Italian Luca Dini Design studio
This model is the first in the new series of Wider catamarans embodying a seamless integration of exterior and interior spaces.
The owner’s cabin on board the WiderCat 92 is located on the main deck and occupies almost half of its interior space. There are three guest cabins below deck. The aft tender garage can transform into a spacious beach club, which can be extended with folding bulkheads at anchor.
What makes this vessel really different from others is her serial hybrid propulsion system. On board the WiderCat 92 visitors of the Venice Boat show will also have an opportunity to see the customized versions of the Seabob F5S in a special Wider edition, as well as the groundbreaking SipaBoards Neo Silver Drive, which is the world's first electric SUP by Wider.
The choice of Venice for the debut of the new catamaran is certainly no coincidence, as the city is special for the shipyard. Here, at the Wider Superyacht Hub, construction is underway of another ambitious project: the 72-metre Moonflower superyacht developed in collaboration with Nauta Design. At the same time more units of the WiderCat 92 are in production at the new Wider facility in Fano, and work on the development of new models is in progress.
