Apreamare, a family shipyard created in Naples back in 1849, specializes in manufacturing “Sorrento gozzo” yachts – traditional boats that have become a landmark of this part of Italy
They stand out for their retro elegance, a rounded stern and abundance of wooden finishes. Traditional gozzos are open boats, where the deck is sheltered with a tent or a hardtop. However, Apreamare has developed and launched the first 11.45-metre model with a wheelhouse named Gozzo 38 Cabin. Having preserved all the features of the open version, this model is suitable for cruising in any weather.
The Gozzo 38 Cabin was designed by the head of the Apreamare shipyard, Cataldo Aprea, designer Marco Casali and engineer Umberto Tagliavini. The first yacht that has already been launched is going on a cruise to the seas of Northern Europe to confirm her seakeeping characteristics and the comfort of this model, created for the owner, who wants to spend a lot of time on board a few days all year round.
The official world premiere of the new Gozzo 38 Cabin will take place at the Cannes Yachting Festival on 10-15 September 2024. The yacht will also be showcased at Genoa International Boat Show in Genoa on 19-24 September.
