The first 10.5-metre Tykun Х is already in build and is scheduled to make her debut at the Monaco Yacht Show in September 2025. The largest Tykun ХII model has already been ordered with the launch expected in 2026
For over 30 years Italian Med Group has been designing and building RIBs (rigid inflatable boats) for public administration and armed forces. Not long ago the shipyard made a decision to enter the “civil” market segment, too, as well as add stylish design by the famous Italian yacht architect, Tommaso Spadolini.

The configuration of Tykun VIII, X and XII models is simlar: centre console with a hard top, a dining area in the cockpit, sunbeds at the bow. The only difference is the size.
The hulls will be of highly durable and lightweight aluminium. Unlike fiberglass, it does not require moulds, which allows for bespoke construction and simplifies making structural changes both at any stage of the construction and operation processes. This ability to adapt will enable each boat to evolve in accordance with her owner’s needs.

Tykun chase boats are said to offer an exceptional level of customization, including layouts, colours, fabrics.
“We know that owners will appreciate the flexibility of the design and layout, meaning they can create their perfect pleasure boat, which is enjoyable and easy to handle, no matter the conditions," said Tommaso Spadolini.

Tykun chase boats will be capable of reaching a top speed of over 55 knots. The technical details will be kept under wraps until the official debut at the Monaco Yacht Show. However, the Med Group makes it clear that their performance credentials are reinforced by the heritage of MED DEFENSE, so one can expect Tykun boats to meet the highest standards of military vessels’ performance.
