Williams, British manufacturer of the world’s most popular jet tenders, goes on celebrating its 20th anniversary with lots of news and updates

Firstly, Williams has announced the launch of a new brand, Evene Tenders, which will specialize in superyacht tenders exclusively. The first model range, Origin Series, will be unveiled on 24 April 2025.

Secondly, the range of popular jet tenders, Williams SportJet, will feature “refreshed” SportJet 460 and 520 models. And if almost no information is available about the new Evene brand yet, there are a lot of details about these tenders now.

The SportJet 460 and 520 are among the most popular models Williams model, and in their updated versions both of them will feature an innovative helm display and enhanced ergonomics.

The SportJet 460 is a perfect tender for yachts over 25 m. It can accommodate up to six passengers. For thrill-seekers, the SportJet 460 can also double as a ski or wakeboarding boat thanks to the speed of up to 48 miles per hour (77 km/h) and a removable ski pole.

The SportJet 460’s design will retain its versatility and practicality: its large aft platform is comfortable for swimming, while the helm seat can hinge and free up more space for sunbathing. The ultra-responsive jet propulsion system ensures precise handling at low speeds, while no exposed moving parts allow for absolutely safe swimming and diving.

The SportJet 520 does not only stand out for its performance characteristics, but enhanced comfort, too: this model is meant to serve as a tencer for yachts over 30 m. As the largest in the SportJet range, it can accommodate seven passengers and offers enough storage space.

The 230 hp Rotax engine delivers a speed of up to 56 miles per hour (90 km/h). Among other enhancements there is a new 1.2-metre boarding pole and a sturdy step pad option; a hinging helm seat; improved bow seating that can transform into a sunpad. There is also an automatic bow inflation option: it deflates for compact storage and inflates at the flick of a switch.
