According to the shipyard, the new wallywhy100 will showcase a number of features that are unique for the 70-foot segment
The new model extends the range of futuristic wallywhy motor yachts already featuring the larger wallywhy150 and wallywhy200. Compared to her predecessors, she doesn’t have a flybridge, but equals them in terms of impressive exterior lines, comfort and performance.
The model features a stealth-style glass superstructure, eliminating the boundaries between the exterior and interior spaces. They flow seamlessly starting from a lounge forward to the sea terrace aft.
The main deck is home to versatile living and dining areas, as well as a carbon-finished double helm station with joystick control for easier marina navigation.
The lower deck houses three guest cabins and a galley, as well as a fourth crew cabin. It is interesting to note that the crew can access their quarters both from the lower and from the main deck without disturbing the guests, which is quite rare for this size category.
The master suite is traditionally full-beam, but features a bathroom on the portside, separated from the cabin with an electrically operated privacy glass that can effectively close the area off with a touch of a button. The VIP cabin is on the portside, and there is a twin guest cabin opposite.
One of wallywhy100’s special features is her sea terrace, or the so-called “beach deck” of 14 sq.m. In addition to two large sunpads and sofas at the entrance, there is a hydraulic hi-lo platform for launching tenders and toys up to 3.6 meters in length.
The drop-down wings aft extend the terrace by almost 50 per cent and offer unobstructed sea views.
With the help of twin 900 hp Volvo Penta D13 IPS1200 engines, the yacht is capable of reaching a top speed 25 knots, and with more powerful 1000 hp Volvo Penta D13 IPS1350 engines, it is two knots higher. At a cruising speed of 22 knots for the first option and 24 knots for the second, the range will be 360 and 340 nautical miles respectively.
At the Cannes festival the shipyard is also planning to showcase its wallypower50, which was unveiled at boot Düsseldorf 2024 earlier this year.
