According to Numarine, four hulls of the 30XP explorer have already been sold and this is the yard's most revolutionary and eco-friendly model to feature diesel-electric propulsion
Both the exterior and interior design of the model were entrusted to Can Yalman, who had successfully worked on the previously launched Numarine models. However, Itanbul-based Ofist Design Studio, took part in the interior design creation, too.
“As the 30XP will be our first diesel-electric yacht, we were inspired by a sustainable, Scandinavian design aesthetic which prioritises simplicity, minimalism and functionality. We want to offer the feeling of being at home even when you are far out at sea”, said Numarine founder and chairman Ömer Malaz about the concept behind the 30XP.
The internal volume of 208 GT allows the yard to offer the owners a variety of layouts, so that they could tailor the spaces in accordance with their individual needs.
The yacht offers accommodation for 10 guests in five cabins and for a crew of five. The owner’s suite with a balcony, a studio, a dressing room and a bathroom is located on the main deck forward, and four more guest staterooms (two VIPs and two double ones) are below deck. The main gathering point on board is the main saloon, featuring a lounge with sofas and armchairs, which is united with an al fresco area in the cockpit.
All in all, it looks like the Numarine 30XP’s main focus is on outdoor recreation: there is a huge recreation area with a dining room and a lounge on the sundeck, there is a raised observation terrace with freestanding furniture on the main deck aft, and the beach club extends considerably with the help of two fold-out bulwarks, increasing its area up to 43 sq.m. Almost all the exterior areas are sheltered either by the hard top or the decks’ overhangs, which is definitely a benefit for a hot climate.
The Numarine 30XP’s side garage can accommodate a tender of up 6.25 m. The superyacht will be powered by a diesel-electric propulsion system or a couple of conventional 560 hp MAN engines. According to the information from the shipyard, the yacht’s top speed is 13 knots, while at the cruising speed of 11 knots she will have a range of about 3000 nautical miles.
