The steel displacement 58Steel was designed by Zuccon International Project and boasts an extended 10.8-metre beam, ensuring the volume comparable to that of 64-metre vessels
The first Sanlorenzo 58Steel christened Perla Lunar has already been delivered to her owner, and now construction is in progress on the second unit.
The yacht’s architecture features a “floating terrace” at the stern, where there is a beach club opening on three sides. There a bar, a hammam, a gym and a beauty salon here. The main deck is home to a pool with a see-through bottom, allowing for natural light to enter the lower level. The model’s bridge deck has been extended by one metre and redesigned to enhance functionality.
This time the vessel’s interior was entrusted to the yard’s in-house Style Department. It features a combination of dark woods with Calacatta Borghini marble, mother-of-pearl and champagne-finished accents.
The entire upper deck has been dedicated to the owner, comprising a panoramic cabin, a spa bathroom, an office, a dressing room and a lounge that can transform into a cinema room.
Among other guest rooms there are two VIP cabins below deck and the so-called Supreme VIP on the main deck.
It the first yacht in the Steel series to feature a hybrid diesel-electric propulsion system. The system is based on five 425 kW generators and a 1 MWh capacity battery pack, ensuring up to two hours of silent cruising or up to eight hours of zero-emission hotel mode operation.
The solution reduces emissions by around 10% compared with conventional propulsion, while azimuthal pods with rotating propellers improve manoeuvrability and reduce vibration and noise. The smaller engine room has allowed for freeing up over 40 sq.m of usable space.
At present, Sanlorenzo has 46 superyacht projects on order, including the flagship 74Steel, which hit the water in October 2025.
