Of all the features of Technohull Expedition family, the manufacturer highlights its Scandinavian-style design and the Mediterranean crossover’s comfort
Designed by Technohull engineers, the Dynastream deep-V hull with ventilated steps and a wave-piercing bow ensures a combination of high performance and a smooth ride.

The XPD 46 is equipped with outboard engines. She will most likely come with several engine options, while the maximum power will be 1800 hp with a provisional top speed of about 60 knots and a cruising speed of 35 knots with standard engine setups.

The vessel’s LOA is 14.85 m, but with a beam of 43.40 m the deck area is amazingly capacious. There are several lounges here. The aft sofa offers comfortable seating and combines the functions of a sunbed and a spacious locker large enough even for a dinghy. The sidewalks can take you to another sunbed with ample storage space at the bow.

According to the designers, the key XPD 46’s advantage is her convertible superstructure that can be fully enclosed or opened. In fact, only the windscreen, which is forward-rake to mitigate reflections and enhance visibility, is stationary. In a hot climate, the top, the doors and aft windows can be removed almost completely. In cold and rainy weather this space, which is home to the navigation panel and a compact saloon, can be made fully enclosed. This solution ensures comfort both for high-latitude adventures and the Mediterranean summer, increasing the seasonal and geographical scope of the model.

Below deck, there is a forward master cabin with a head and a guest cabin aft. In case the owner plans to go on longer voyages or hire a crew, a skipper’s cabin can be arranged below the aft sunbed.

Gerasimos Petratos, CEO of Technohull, believes the new model in the Expedition Series is perfect for “those who seek limitless adventure and wish to enjoy year-round cruising. The XPD 46 masterfully blends extreme capability with the benefits of Technohull’s signature comfort and renowned seaworthiness”.
