WiderCat 92 and WiLder 60: two premieres at Cannes Festival
Italian Wider shipyard has planned two premieres for the Cannes Yachting Festival 2024: the 28.04-metre WiderCat92 Acali catamaran and the 18.9-metre all-aluminium high-performance WiLder 60
ilodka.com has already told you about the WiderCat 92 premiere at Venice Boat Show 2024 and the details of the WiLder 60, so here is just a brief description of these premieres.
WiderCat 92
This catamaran with a length of 28.04 m and a beam of 12 m was designed by Italian Luca Dini Design studio in collaboration with the yard’s in-house Centro Stile. She opens the new series of Wider multihulls, embodying technical innovations and a seamless integration of exterior and interior spaces.
Paying special attention to the design and aesthetics of the vessel, the Italian yard did its best to ensure the WiderCat 92 offers a superyacht level of style and elegance, as well as a good balance of form and functionality. One of the key goals was to make this catamaran’s design exquisite, as multihulls are often “blamed” for their clumsy appearance.
The WiderCat 92 offers accommodation for up to eight guests and a crew of four, while the hybrid propulsion system can function in a full-electric silent mode or accelerate the vessel to a top speed of 15 knots.
WiLder 60
The yard compares this all-aluminium high-performance yacht to a supercar – and not just because of her look, with a powerful inverted bow and a low superstructure, but for excellent maneuverability and ability to reach a top speed of 40 knots really fast.
With a length of 18.9 m and a beam of 5.43 m the WiLder 60 offers both generous exterior and luxurious interior areas. She can accommodate up to six guests in three cabins below deck, including a master suit forward. There is also a designer galley and a dining area at this level, too.
The shipyard also notes that the yacht offers a highest level of customization and a variety of layouts.
