The five-deck superyacht that is being built for an Amercian customer will feature “modern and elegant lines”

The exterior design of the yachts was developed by Espen Øino International, while the interiors were created by FM Architettura. So far there are not many details, but it is already known that with a length of 88 m and a beam of 13.8 m the superyacht boasts quite a few standout features.

Three skylights in the bottom of a 10.3-metre pool will let the light in to the beach club of 100 sq.m located below, with four fold-out terraces, a spa and a massage room.

The yacht will have nine cabins, including a full-beam master suite with a private terrace and a children’s playroom.

The foredeck houses a pickleball court, which can turn into a basketball court or a helipad if necessary. The sundeck is dedicated to relaxation: in addition to lounges, there is also a wellness area, a gym and a jacuzzi.

The yacht is expected to be equipped with an innovative diesel-electric propulsion system with two Azimuth-Veth Thrusters of 1980 kW each, ensuring maximum manoeuvrability and comfort on board with a low level of noise and vibration.

Project Spyder delivery is scheduled for 2027.

“The keel laying ceremony is a special moment in the construction of a yacht, especially for a project of this size and with these futuristic characteristics, both aesthetically and engineering-wise. Now that we are at the beginning of the development phase, we are all extremely eager to see this yacht take shape,” said Giovanni Costantino, Founder & CEO of The Italian Sea Group.
