Although these two custom explorers are different, they do have similar features, and the degree of development of the projects allows the Turkish shipyard to begin their construction in the nearest future

The projects will be available as new construction opportunities exclusively with Denison Yachting. Moreover, it is reported that the 65-metre Above is already on the market, while the Beyond will be introduced in the coming months.

Despite the fact that each project is unique, they draw from common profile lines, interior styling and décor. Both feature a steel hull, an aluminium superstructure, and a custom designed “Crow’s Nest” with a lounge, a moving platform that can climb the height of the mast, allowing for 360-degree views.

With a beam of 12.04 m, the Above’s internal volume 1400 GT. It allowed for seven cabins for 14 guests. The owner’s suite with an office, a dressing room and a saloon is located on the dedicated owner’s deck, while there are six more cabins one level lower, on the main deck.

The vast area of the main saloon allowed for a large dining area and a sitting room. Next to the pool located aft there is a lounge area with a bar and a lounge with sofas. There is a similar area on the sundeck, which is also home to the wheelhouse, captain’s office and cabin.

The lower deck houses a vast wellness area with a sauna, a massage room, a gym and a steam shower. Next to it, there is beach club, which is really well-lit thanks to the pool with a transparent bottom and fold-down side terraces.

The larger part of the lower deck is dedicated to the crew. The crew area is smartly zoned, and an elevator services all the decks.

Twin Caterpillar 3512C engines can accelerate the 65-metre explorer up to a top speed of 16 knots. At a cruising speed of 12 knots the range is over 4000 nautical miles. The yacht can also be equipped with Naiad AtRest stabilisers or Quantum Zero Speed.

As for the 80-metre Beyond, all the details about it will be released later. For now, it is only known that the size of the explorer will allow the designers to extend interior and exterior areas and offer the owners unlimited customization opportunities.

“These projects are two finely-honed explorers, the bones of which have already been designed with care and attention. The soft boundaries to interior walls create sightlines and long architectural views and we have included numerous options for entertaining and sociable dining experiences for groups of all sizes,” said Simon Rowell, Creative Director at Bannenberg & Rowell.

The projects may be realized as early as 2028 if they are sold, as Turquoise Yachts manufactures them based on a well-proven pre-engineered platform.
