Italian Baglietto first announced its newest T54 model in March 2025
There is no information about the exact date the keel was laid, but the fact that the yacht has been sold was announced after seven months, in October. Now, just a month after the sale, the first hull has been moved to the outfitting stage.
The construction period for a superyacht of this size and class are unprecedented: the first Baglietto Т54 is scheduled for delivery in 2027. Moreover, according to the shipyard, it is currently working on the second hull, too, which is due for delivery in 2028.
It is not a secret it is possible to reduce a yacht’s delivery time thanks to the use of a technical platform, so the Т54 is set to continue the success of her smaller sister, the T52, which has already sold nine units.
The entire T-Line was designed by Francesco Paszkowski Design. There are also plans for a 60.6-metre Т60 model, too. The larger length will allow the designers to play with layouts and outfitting, to make the liveable spaces more or less generous, retaining the original concept of the family: a steel displacement hull with an aluminium superstructure, optimised hull for lower fuel consumption, large expanses of glazing and a harmonious synthesis of exterior and interior spaces. Plus, there’s definitely the immaculate exterior elegance that all Baglietto boats can boast.
With a length of 54 m and a beam of 9.5 m, the Т54 has an internal volume of 499 GT, which allows for comfortable accommodation for up to 12 guests. The owner’s suite on the main deck features a private terrace, while the rest of the guests’ accommodation has been upgraded, too, thanks to the fact that one of the VIP suits has been moved to the upper deck, allowing for more spacious four guest cabins below deck.
The skylounge has retained its signature feature and opens on three sides, offering panoramic views and a versatile lounge area, blurring the line between interior and exterior spaces.
Baglietto’s hallmark, the sundeck, has been enlarged to 150 sq.m and now features a second pool – in addition to the main one located on the three-level beach club aft.
As for the technical characteristics, the first Baglietto T54 will be powered by Caterpillar C32 engines, ensuring a top speed of 16 knots. However, the model can also be fitted with a hybrid propulsion system on request.
According to Fabio Ermetto, Baglietto’s Chief Commercial Officer, the T54 was born from careful listening to the market and a desire to push boundaries without betraying the yard’s identity. “It is a perfect synthesis of elegance, innovation, and customization — values that guide us every day," he said.
