The delivery of the first hull is scheduled for 2026, and it is going to be ‘the new top of the range among fast, innovative and hi-tech yachts, which have always been the hallmark of La Spezia-based shipyard’
The Fast50 stands out for a smooth, seamless transition between interiors and exteriors, a dual-level aft section with a cockpit united with a beach club and generous interiors with ceiling-high windows.
To free even more space, the ventilation ducts were moved outside and integrated into the hull structure, while the fairleads at the stern remind one of sports car exhausts.
The new model will feature three decks – in contrast to all the other Baglietto boats with a prefix ‘fast’. The main saloon will house a lounge area with a home cinema, and a dining area in the skylounge on the upper deck.
All in all, the yacht can sleep up to 10 guests. The full-beam master apartment is on the main deck, and two VIP cabins and two ensuite double cabins are below deck. There are also crew areas and cabins.
Judging by the amount and diversity of outdoor areas, a lot of attention was obviously paid to exterior spaces. There are recreation areas with sofas, sun loungers and a jacuzzi on the upper deck forward, and there is a lounge and an alfresco dining area aft.
The float-in tender garage is located right behind the engine compartment and can accommodate a tender up to 7 m long. The hull is fitted with limited-draught semi-tunnels to ensure safe cruising in shallow waters, while four MTU 2000M96L engines can accelerate this aluminium 50-metre superyacht up to a top speed of 30 knots.
Baglietto hopes that the Fast50 will measure up to such legendary yachts of the shipyard as the Pachamama, the Monokini and the Rush.
"The FAST50 line is reintroducing Baglietto to the segment of high-performing yachts,- comments Baglietto's Sales Manager Fabio Ermetto – Top performances have always been part of our DNA, and the new top-of-the-range model reinterprets distinctive elements of our tradition to effectively respond to the current market demand. This means meeting the needs of clients who love top performances but do not want to renounce the comfort and luxury of a superyacht".
