At the coin ceremony that dates back to the times of ancient Rome, a silver coin was placed under the keel block as a symbol of good fortune
With this ceremony, the shipyard’s Custom Division marked the start of the construction work on the new explorer yacht scheduled for launch in 2026 and currently code-named Cantieri di Pisa Custom 40. By the way, she is the first yacht over 30 metres, which has been sold since the yard was acquired by Enrico Gennasio in 2021.

Her exterior was created by chief designer at Cantieri di Pisa, Antonio Luxardo, while the engineering was developed by Francesco Samarelli and his Studio Sa.Ma.Re Design.

The yacht’s hull will be all-steel, while the superstructure will combine aluminium and composite materials. There is a plan to use vacuum technology, which ensures lighter weight, a lower centre of gravity and, therefore, more efficient propulsion and lower fuel consumption. The superyacht will be powered by twin MAN V12 of 1550 hp delivering a provisional top speed of 15 knots. In a cruising mode, the vessel’s range will reach 2000 nautical miles.

With four decks and an internal volume under 500 GT, the explorer will feature a layout that is unique for her size: two spacious saloons and six guest, including a master suite with a private terrace on the main deck forward, as well as four cabins and a VIP suite below deck. There are also six crew cabins, including the captain’s next to the wheelhouse and the first officer’s cabin on the bridge deck.

There are lounge areas across all four decks, and a beach club with a jacuzzi and fold-down bulwarks aft. There will be a large garage amidships, with a lateral launching system for a tender up to 6.6 m, all kinds of water toys and a jet ski, so the yacht looks perfect for long and comfortable stays on board.
