The superyacht’s technical launch took place back in July 2023, after which the vessel with a length of 75.75 m, a beam of 12.5 m and an internal volume of 1750 GT headed towards Kaag in South Holland
The exterior design of the four-decker with expansive glazing and a profile that resembles a classic cruise liner, was entrusted to Feadship’s creative centre, De Voogt Naval Architects. The naval architecture is owed to Dutch Azure Yacht Design & Naval Architecture.
“The brief was for a masculine design that was also timeless and elegant,” says Thijs Orth, designer at Studio De Voogt. “The predominantly straight lines and bold forms are combined with subtly nuanced surfaces that catch the light and make the whole yacht interesting to look at. To soften the predominantly horizontal lines and add a more sensual feel we also added quite a pronounced tumblehome when viewed from the stern. This curvature is continued on the sides of the sundeck roof.”
In the centre of the One’s main deck there is an accent that has been successfully tried and tested on other Feadship vessels (Faith and Lonian): a raised pool with a glass bottom. This solution provides unusual extra lighting for quite a generous beach club one level lower. On the owner’s deck forward, there is a touch-and-go helipad with a garage for a 9.5-metre tender under it.
Among other standout features of the new superyacht, one should mention diagonal teak deck flooring that Feadship has never used before, as well as a wellness centre on the bridge deck, including a sauna, a massage room and a gym. The latter features large windows that can open on three sides, thus making it an exterior space united with a lounging area with a bar and a jacuzzi on the same level.
The interior design of this masculine-looking vessel was entrusted to Parisian Gilles & Boissier studio, known for its work on the “crystal” Baccarat hotel in New York. The renderings that are available now show mainly lime-washed wood, stone, a natural colour palette, minimum of furniture and abundance of various pieces of art, making this superyacht a versatile option both as a private boat allowing for further individualization, and as a charter vessel, too. She can accommodate up to 12 guests in six cabins, including a VIP-suit on the main deck forward, and a crew of up to 17 in 10 cabins.
Thanks to twin MTU engines the One is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots. As for the provisional range, it is about 5000 nautical miles at a speed of 12 knots.
The vessel is currently listed for sale asking €172,500,000.
