Designed at a specific request of a client, the GX38 Voyager will be the first explorer vessel manufactured under the GX Superyachts brand
They young GX Superyachts brand created by Slovenian Greenline Yachts, continues its expansion into the superyacht market. Following the GX42 and GX34 the company presented its new project, GX38 Voyager, at the Monaco Yacht Show.

It is well-known that the GX Superyachts adheres to the idea of “responsible yachting” and the GX38 Voyager is not an exception. The yacht will be powered by a hybrid propulsion system designed inhouse, which comprises diesel generators, electric motors and solar panels. According to the data from the yard, this will allow for reducing carbon emissions by as much as 30 % per cent compared to conventional diesel engines.

Optional Azimuth pod drives and ice class hull will allow the GX38 Voyager to navigate the areas inaccessible to ordinary yachts. The yacht’s provisional top speed will be 16 knots, while at a speed of 6 knots, she will boast a range of incredible 10000 nautical miles.

The yacht’s beam is 8.2 m, but according to the shipyard, they are working on the options that are 9 m and more, which will allow for larger interior spaces and extend both the forward and aft sections of the boat.
Marco Casali continues collaboration with the brand as the interior and exterior designer. His key idea for this project is the continuity of exterior and interior spaces.

“It has been a very rewarding process to work so closely with the experienced GX Superyachts team in developing the brief and design for a capable explorer yacht. Starting from the assumption that guests would want to spend extended periods on board to reach remote cruising grounds, the GX38 Voyager includes generous tankage, food storage and lots of space for belongings from clothing to water toys. Similarly, long periods aboard require us to pay a lot of attention to levels of comfort and service,” said Marco Casali.

The GX38 Voyager can offer the guests 5-6 ensuite cabins, including the owner’s suite on the main deck and VIP cabins a level lower. There will also be quarters for a crew of 6-7. The focus is on a really flexible layout, thanks to which the cabins and social spaces like the saloon and the dining area can be customised.
Among other GX38 Voyager’s features, one should mention the option of an enclosed saloon with panoramic windows and even master suites on the sundeck. The lounge on the foredeck can be fitted with a firepit, while the aft section is large enough for a jacuzzi, a lounge in the cockpit and storing tenders and water toys. There is also an option of a crow's nest to watch land and seascapes.
“GX Superyachts is delighted to have unveiled the GX38 Voyager, which is the fruit of months of work with a very motivated client. It extends our unique commitment to responsible yachting into the adventure sector for the first time, with a yacht that is equally capable of heading to high latitudes or remote areas – all in exceptional comfort,” said the brand’s founder, Vladimir Zinchenko.
