Italian Baglietto keeps extending its line of aluminium motor yachts, the DOM, promising not just larger dimensions, but a higher level of comfort on board, drawing on the experience with the previous models
Following the successful 40.9-metre DOM133, which has already sold 12 units, and the 34.5- metre DOM115 with four orders to date, a new, larger boat is joining the family.
“The DOM155 is the result of listening carefully to our clients and, more broadly, to the market, which has enthusiastically welcomed both the 35- and 41-metre models but has repeatedly expressed interest in larger dimensions,” comments Fabio Ermetto, Baglietto’s Chief Commercial Officer.
The author of the DOM concept, Stefano Vafiadis, has chosen the style aimed at the balance and formal clarity, and describes the DOM155’s design as “clean and sculptural”, slightly aggressive and reminiscent of automotive design.
Clean lines, abundance of longitudinal “cuts” and well thought out volumes ensure a “seamless dialogue” between interior and exterior spaces. The use of aluminium allows for even more customisation opportunities and enhanced performance characteristics (the provisional top speed is 16 knots).
The DOM155 can boast a sun deck of 130 sq.m featuring an infinity pool with an integrated bar, is large enough for socializing, sunbathing and relaxing.
The lounge area at the stern is equally generous. It features featuring a panoramic infinity pool with two large staircases on both sides. The space on the portside can be configured as a wellness area with spa and gym overlooking the sea, or as another garage.
The tender and jet ski can also be stored on the foredeck, fitted with a crane.
The yacht can accommodate 10-12 guests. The full-beam master suite featuring an office, a dressing room, a bedroom with a California king-size bed and a spacious bathroom occupies the entire bow section of the main deck. There are four more guest cabins below deck, and there can be one more guest cabin on the upper deck if necessary. There are quarters for a crew of eight.
According to Fabio Ermetto, the DOM155 is “a yacht with high levels of customization, comfort, and liveability that will fit perfectly into the sub-500 GT yacht segment”.
The first unit of the model is scheduled for launch early in 2029.
