As a project, the Ferretti Yachts 800 was unveiled at boot Düsseldorf, but construction work on the first hull is already in progress at the yard’s facility in Cattolica

The project is the result of collaboration between the Product Strategy Committee led by Piero Ferrari and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department. The yacht’s exterior is owed to architect Filippo Salvetti, while her interior was entrusted to Ideaeitalia studio.

It is interesting to note here that aprart from the version with a length of 24.27 m and a beam of 5.91 m, the yard also offers a version with a shorter stern platform in order to comply with the 24-metre limit established by French law.

The exterior of the Ferretti Yachts 800 model is modern and has a bold personality, but at the same time retains the brand’s identity and common features with other models. Filippo Salvetti combines dynamic and elegant lines skillfully, while one of the key innovations he introduced is the gradual, almost unnoticeable slope of the flybridge’s lines down to the stern.

“With the introduction of a new aesthetic, one that’s particularly clear to see in the surface treatment of the yacht’s sides, the design of Ferretti Yachts 800 embraces a bold and functional approach that elegantly redefines the distribution of spaces between the main deck, the bridge and the flybridge”, commented Filippo Salvetti.

Al fresco lounge areas include the flybridge of 40 sq.m with a bar, a dining area and free-standing Talenti furniture; a beach club with a fold-down sofa, a cockpit of 15 sq.m with a glass parapet designed to extend the view towards the beach club, and a spacious foredeck lounge with a C-shaped sofa and a sunpad.

Ideaeitalia team focused on layouts, aiming to create functional and comfortable spaces, as well as to separate guest and crew flows.

“Our aim with Ferretti Yachts 800 is to breathe life into a boat concept that’s future-forward without sacrificing the brand’s signature refinement. It’s a project that redefines the on-board experience through solutions that combine aesthetics and functionality,” said the spokesperson for Ideaeitalia.

Thanks to large windows, the saloon is well-lit. In addition to the lounge, there is enough space for a generous dining area for eight. One can make an opening door opposite, on the starboard side. A well-equipped galley is located nearby and is convenient to serve the dining area thanks to the sliding glass section. The crew has access here and to the wheelhouse via separate walkways.

There is a choice of two interior décor moods available: classic, with the predominance of natural elements, and contemporary, featuring glossy wooden surfaces and fabrics in the shades inspired by the colours of the sea.

The lower deck can accommodate up to eight guests in two guest cabins, a master suite of 18 sq.m and a VIP cabin forward. All the cabins are ensuite. There are also quarters for a crew of six.

As standard, the Ferretti Yachts 800 will be powered by twin 1550 hp MAN V12 engines, but there is also a more powerful option of 1800 hp twins. The yacht’s provisional top speed is 27 or 31 knots, and the cruising speed is 15 or 27 knots respectively.
