The keel of the new superyacht has been laid, and work on the hull is now underway
The first Atlantique 37 will join the other models in the Atlantique series that are currently being built at the shipyard: two units of Atlantique 43 and Atlantique 47, and the Crossover 42 explorer. According to Giuseppe Palumbo, CEO of Palumbo Superyachts, the yard in Ancona is really busy now, building 10 superyachts that are 30 to 80 metres long.
The Atlantique 37 design was crafted by Hot Lab, and the naval architecture was developed inhouse. The yacht features elegant modern profile lines, expansive glazing, an almost vertical bow rising up to the upper deck level, and an open aft with an infinity pool, a lounge and a dining area.
The interior of this compact 330 GT superyacht will be exquisite and aimed at bringing the guests into communion with nature. Expansive use of stone, wood and designer furniture creates the atmosphere of a modern and stylish house on the water.
Up to ten guests can sleep comfortably in five cabins: four on the lower deck and a full-beam master stateroom with a bathroom and a dressing room on the main deck.
The Atlantique 37 layout features two dining areas, capable of accommodating all the guests at once. The one in the aft cockpit on the main deck is open, and the other one on the upper deck is indoors. However, it can also be made exterior by opening the side windows. The Atlantique 37 has a side garage for a 4.45-metre tender and a stowage space for a 3.25-metre tender and a rescue boat in the bow.
Two 2000hp MAN engines can accelerate this yacht with an aluminium semi-planing hull up a maximum speed of 22 knots, while the Atlantique 37 is capable of long passages at a cruising speed of 19 knots.
The delivery of the vessel to “a European customer” is scheduled for 2025.
“Enrico Lumini, the creative soul of the Hot Lab studio, has designed a line that is undoubtedly destined to become a best seller for the Columbus brand”, commented Giuseppe Palumbo, CEO of Palumbo Superyachts.
