Italian brand Custom Line (part of the Ferretti Group) has revealed some details of the project that is currently in build at its facility in Ancona
The Navetta 35 is a made-to-measure boat featuring the exterior by Filippo Salvetti, who worked in close collaboration with Strategic Product Committee chaired by Piero Ferrari and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department. It stands out for a laconic style that comes across as plastic and muscular and conveys the idea of a sporty boat inspired by the automotive world.
With the Navetta 35, Custom Line intends to strengthen its position in the segment of displacement yachts under 270 GT. Expanding and developing its offer in this sector, the brand focuses on optimising volumes, as well as offering maximum customisatioin opportunities even for production models.
In accordance with this concept, the Navetta 35 was designed to provide maximum usable area: with a length of 34.5 m and a beam of 7.7 m, she offers over 300 sq.m of indoor and outdoor spaces across her three decks
The sundeck of 58 sq.m is home to a sunbathing area and a jacuzzi (the pool is optional), while in the shade of a hard top one can arrange a lounge or a sky bar. The upper deck features generous interconnected spaces, including a panoramic lounge of 44 sq.m, a dining area for 10 people, transitioning smoothly into an enclosed saloon and then a lounging area at the bow. The cockpit continues with a sofa in the transom section, which opens onto the swim platform. One of the model’s features is the “absence” of an external staircase on the main deck aft. In fact, it was moved to the starboard side and concealed behind the reflective surface that separates it from the dining area. As a result, there is a generous, light-filled hallway that leads the master suite at the bow.
The Custom Line Navetta 35’s layout is meant for accommodating ten guests across five cabins, including the master suite and four cabins below deck with one featuring a Pullman bed.
The interior designed by Antonio Citterio and Patricia Viel (ACPV Architects) will be offered in three versions. The Contrast Chocolate Mood plays on sophisticated contrasts between dark brown leather, bone-china lacquering and Grigio Alpi stone surfaces to create an intense and structured elegance. The Contrast Oyster Mood strikes a refined balance between pale, desaturated woods, dark leather and tone-on-tone fabrics, creating an understated, timeless setting. Finally, the Light Mood features an airy aesthetic with pale, natural colour shades like ivory, beige and caramel and three-dimensional white lacquered wood panelling.
As standard, the yacht will be powered by twin MAN V12 engines of 1,400 hp, ensuring a range of up to 1,800 nautical miles in the economy mode. With an optional propulsion system of twin CAT C32 engines of 1,622 hp each, she will boast a top speed of 16 knots. The project is also set up for the installation of an SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) system, cutting NOx emissions by 70% to comply with IMO Tier III regulations.
Completing the yacht’s technical equipment is a stern garage on the lower deck, designed to accommodate a tender up to 5 m in length and a jet ski.
The delivery date for the Custom Line Navetta 35 has not been announced yet.
