Lazzara Yachts shipyard with production facilities based in Tampa (Florida) has announced it is about to start construction on the first yacht in the UHV 90 series
With a length of 27.4 m and a beam of 7.2 m, this composite model boasts the largest gross tonnage in the class (170 GT). The abbreviation UHV stands for Ultra High Volume, and according to the shipyard, her interior volume can rival that of a yacht twice her size. The boat offers over 200 sq.m of interior space and over 80 sq.m of open decks.
This kind of volume certainly implies specific design: the Lazzara UHV 90 features a displacement hull with a really wide bow and a capacious superstructure.
The boat can accommodate eight guests in four very spacious staterooms and a crew of four. The master cabin located on the main deck forward features a king-size bed, a desk, a lounge area and an exceptionally large "spa-like" bathroom.
The sky lounge – the saloon on the upper deck with floor-to-ceiling windows – is likely to be the largest in this segment, too. It houses a bar, a game table for six guests and a huge television screen. The interiors on board the first Lazzara 90 UHV will feature fine woods and custom-made furniture.
On the aft deck there is an open lounge area, a beach club with a swim platform and railing-enclosed tender storage.
Twin Volvo D13 engines will allow the yacht to reach a top speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 12. The first Lazzara UHV 90 unit is scheduled for launch in 2026.
