The designers are confident that the Ghost, which combines state-of-the-art engineering solutions, innovative aesthetics and exceptional efficiency, is set to open “a new era of performance, comfort, and elegance at sea”
The UAE-based brand, Foiler, has come up with a really ambitious idea: previously, hydrofoils used to be installed on motor yachts only in order to beat some records, but now this innovation is being introduced into the premium sector, where yachts are used solely for pleasure.
The boat’s futuristic exterior, featuring sculptural lines and a masculine black and grey colour, is owed to Turkish designer, Timur Bozca, head of Bozca Design.
“Every structural and aesthetic decision is made with intention. There are no decorative elements, only forms that serve performance, reliability, and clarity. Ghost is not just a foiling yacht but a high-performance platform shaped by architecture, precision engineering, and a philosophy of purposeful design.”
The Ghost’s length is 28 m, her beam is 8 m, extending to about 20 metres with foils deployed. The hull will be built of carbon fiber and titanium, ensuring its light weight, reliability and ability to reach and endure high speeds. Thanks to the foiling system, the yacht will be capable of rising two metres above the water and “flying” at a cruising speed of 30-35 knots, and reaching a top speed of 45 knots! According to the designers, this way the yacht will offer an unprecedented level of comfort, stability and silence under way.
The company in charge of hydrofoils and vessel construction is ENATA, which is an international manufacturing group with primary businesses in marine, aerospace and automotive areas. Commenting on Ghost, Alois Vieujot, CEO of ENATA Group, said the following: “Foiling transforms the experience of yachting. At 40 knots, passengers can move freely, speak in hushed tones, and enjoy a completely smooth, stable ride, something unimaginable on a conventional yacht. Ghost takes this comfort and serenity to a whole new scale”.
The liveable area on board the yacht will be 133 sq.m, including 52 sq. m of exterior deck space. Floor-to-ceiling glazing creates ensures 360-degree sea views and filling the interior with natural light.
The Ghost is positioned as a serial-production, semi-customizable platform and can come with three to five cabins.
Construction of the first hull is to start within the nearest 12-18 months, while the Ghost’s launch is expected in 2029.
