GX Superyachts is the new brand founded by Slovenian Greenline Yachts known as an expert in sustainable hybrid vessels
While Greenline manufactures models under 18 m, GX Superyachts will focus on larger models. The first 420-metre GX42 is currently in build at the SES Yachts facility in Turkish Tuzla. Her premiere is scheduled for the summer of 2026.

The GX42 stands out for a low-profile superstructure. The first hull will also features a Raised Pilot House (RPH), integrated between the main and lower decks. This configuration allowed for a really large master suite on the main deck.

In addition to the owner’s cabin, there is also a dressing room, a spacious bathroom and a foyer-cum-office.

It also freed space below deck for a more generous full-beam VIP-suite with a fold-down balcony on the portside. There are three more guest cabins with transformable beds, which makes guest accommodation really flexible.

The social areas on board the GX42 are focused on the main deck aft, where there is an impressive dining area for 10 and a comfortable saloon. The upper deck with a gently curved hard top is meant for al fresco recreation and is home to a bar, a jacuzzi, a selection of sofas and sunbeds.

“For a boat with a slim, efficient hull, the volume is phenomenal, and we have put it to excellent use with full-beam cabins, inviting social areas for relaxed living and that wonderful upper deck. The VIP cabin is breathtaking – it’s just as well suited to a co-owner as a guest,” said Greenline Yachts and GX Superyachts owner, Vladimir Zinchenko.

The custom interiors of the first GX42 by Italian Marco Casali feature two main ideas: timeless design and a family vibe. Casali has chosen natural colours and materials: walnut wood, white leather, lacquer, top quality Italian fabrics. Rippled liquid metal panels resemble the waves outside and reinforce the dark-light contrast of materials. Every edge is rounded with a broad radius – both for cosiness and safety.

There is a lot of free-standing furniture from top Italian designers like Poltrona Frau and B&B Italia. The aesthetic aspect has been carefully considered to reflect and enhance the broad radius-curves seen in the structural elements of the boat. Every room has a focal point: for instance, a spectacular backlit slab of marble in the dining area, whereas in other rooms there are pieces coming from the owner’s collection of art.

Expansive glazing of the main deck provides abundance of bright natural light. In addition, Italian Ultra Luce has also developed lots of subtle direct and indirect lighting techniques, allowing one to create almost any mood on board.

“This is no showboat for flexing the muscles,” said designer Marco Casali. “We worked closely with the owners to realise their priorities for a family friendly design that favours extended periods on board. By using natural materials like Italian leather, stone and wood, we have created an intensely calming interior, but also one that fits the GX Superyachts principles of Responsible Yachting.”
