After the completion, the Majesty 180 is set to become the world’s largest semi-production composite yacht
No radical design changes compared to other superyachts in the Majesty line are expected, as the new model has inherited a lot of stylistic features from the previously unveiled Majesty 160 and Majesty 145. Nevertheless, according to Erwin Bamps, CEO of Gulf Craft, each model will retain its own distinct character.
The Majesty 180’s exterior and interior are owed to Cristiano Gatto Design, which is the yard’s long-time partner and has worked on other yachts in the series, too. The main focus is on the balance of interior and exterior spaces, panoramic glazing, abundance of natural light, versatility and clear separation of guest and service areas.
“Today, luxury begins from within-with how a yacht makes us live and feel. The outside becomes an extension of that inner experience, connecting us with nature and the sea. When wellness becomes part of everyday life, it naturally becomes part of longevity,” explained designer Cristiano Gatto.
Working on the Majesty 180, Cristiano Gatto Design team chose to go beyond the conventional approach to superyacht design. They viewed sleeping, movement, privacy, social interaction and contact with the water as integral elements of the living experience, so the onboard spaces were created with these guest needs in mind.
“The deliberate design pursuit of emotional balance and wellbeing at sea is reflected in the new generation of our Majesty superyacht collection," said Erwin Bamps.
According to the yard, the new generation of superyachts, from the Majesty 125 to the Majesty 180, reflects significant shifts in the owner expectations, who no longer seek merely more luxury, space or extra features, but a better quality of life at sea.
For now, there is no information about the Majesty 180’s delivery, but it is known that the 49.5-metre Majesty 160 will hit the water in 2027.
