Dutch Mulder Design studio famous for its collaboration with such shipyards as Vicem, Van Dutch и Riviera, has unveiled a new 28-meter (92 ft) concept named Onyx 92
The focus in this motor yacht’s design is on space optimisation. The result of this approach is the opportunity to offer a full-fledged beach club with a bar by the water, which is almost impossible to find on board a yacht of this size. The main space for relaxing in the sun is the foredeck, but there are also al fresco lounges available on the main and upper decks aft.
The project’s layouts stand out for a high level of flexibility. There can be either a master cabin or a panoramic dining area on the main deck forward. As for the guest accommodation, Mulder Design offers four to six cabins, as well as quarters for a crew of up to four. The interior designer has not been chosen yet, which is a great opportunity to personalise the project for all those interested .
In the engine room, there are twin MTU 2000 M96 engines, capable of delivering a top speed of 26 knots and a cruising speed of 18 knots. In the eco mode of 10 knots, the Onyx 92’s range is 1 800 nautical miles. The small draft of just 1.6 m is another advantage perfect for exploring remote coves and anchoring in shallow waters.
