The 57-metre Saturno 56 will become the pioneer of the range and, according to the shipyard, will satisfy the current market demand
The materials that will be used for building Saturno 56 as well as other yachts in the range are steel, aluminium and composite. “This range has a classic layout that reprises Cantieri di Pisa’s traditional stylistic hallmarks – not least the black and white lines on the hull sides and the ‘ribbon’ windows – but also satisfies demand from contemporary owners of all ages for spaces that alternate moments of relaxation and sport,” said Antonio Luxardo, the shipyard’s chief designer.
One of the yacht’s features is the beach club, connected to the main and upper decks by a transverse staircase. The beach area also stands out for a terrace by the water and a swimming pool with a transparent bottom that fills the area will even more light. Thanks to the fold-out side terraces and transom all of this space can be open on three sides.
The yard also promises a sundeck that will house a gym, a lounge on the main deck of 90 sq.m, a six-cabin layout and numerous exterior and interior areas for socializing at different levels.
Thanks to expansive glazing, the interior areas that are owed m2atelier are flooded with light. Flexibility, clean lines, natural materials and pale colours echoe the beauty of Japanese aesthetics throughout the interior spaces.
According to m2atelier studio, “Saturno is the new line of large vessels that revisits Cantieri di Pisa’s iconic boats, using an innovative language and a harmonious blend of tradition and modernity to exemplify the sea-loft concept and aspiring to an on-board lifestyle characterised by the sense of freedom typical of these contemporary open-plan architectural designs that are ideal for third-millennium families”.
Just like other projects of the yard, Saturno 56 will feature a signature EHPH (Eco High Power Hull), developed for long cruises. As for the propulsion, the yacht will be powered by twin Caterpillar C32 engines of 1600 hp each, but the yard is also exploring a hybrid, more eco-friendly alternative.
