The shipyard has announced that the 70-metre superyacht with a hull of steel and aluminium superstructure is entering the final construction stage
This full-custom project is the result of CRN inhouse team’s collaboration with Ferretti Group Superyachts Division, which is in charge of engineering, design and build quality.
Dutch Vripack Yacht Design worked on the exterior design, preliminary naval architecture and general arrangement, while Nauta Design studio took on the interior design and exterior social areas.
The superyacht stands out for a classic elongated bow, a sleek profile and graceful lines that resemble sailboats.

The interior design concept by Nauta Design reflects the idea of connection with the sea and offers “a sophisticated blend of timeless details, merging heritage with a modern, refined aesthetic”.
At present, work continues across the four decks of the superyacht and by the end of this summer the yard plans to complete the installation of metal components and move on to full hull painting.
The shipyard has paid special attention to the development of energy recovery solutions and precise sizing of the vessel’s equipment to make the yacht more efficient, reduce fuel consumption and allow the guests to rest at anchor in complete silence.

With a length of 70 m and a beam of 11 m, the Project Thunderball features an impressive internal volume of 1100 GT. The accommodation will include a master suite and five VIP cabins for up to 12 guests, as well as quarters for a crew of 19.
The vessel equipped with 1650 ho MAN V12 engines will be capable of delivering a top speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots.
According to the information from the yard, the Project Thunderball’s construction progresses according to schedule, and the superyacht’s launch and delivery are expected in 2026.
