Italian boutique shipyard, Tankoa Yachts, has unveiled its 52-metre model, which is a “reinvention” of the popular S501 series that has already sold six units

The new model known as the Tankoa S520 was designed by the yard’s long-time partner, Francesco Paszkowski. Despite the fact that the boat is two meters longer, he managed to retain the dynamic lines and proportions of the S501.

The larger size naturally led to more generous spaces on board, both interior and exterior. The skylounge, or the informal saloon on the upper deck, has increased, and the sundeck got wider and now features an infinity pool. Among other new features one can also mention the gangway built into the aft platform, as well as the crane for launching a tender at the bow. The bow section of the upper deck is now dedicated to storing water toys.

The focus of this model’s design is on her aft part: all the main lounge and entertainment areas for the owner and the guests are concentrated here.

The split-level beach club is integrated seamlessly with the main deck, where there is also an infinity pool, and offers a large sunbathing area. Inside, it is flooded with light thanks to two fold-out side platforms and several windows.

High ceilings and large windows in the cabins make the interior design by Margherita Casprini more expressive compared to that found on board the S501. She was also in charge of the recently launched 58-metre masterpiece by Tankoa named Diamond Binta.
