ISA Yachts, which is part of Palumbo Group, has announced the launch of a new 40-metre UNICA project
It is an all-alluminium semi-displacement superyacht with a draft of just 2.2 m. The design was developed by Enrico Gobbi and his Team for Design studio, and the naval architecture comes from the technical department of Palumbo Superyachts. The idea behind the project is to set new and unique standards of excellence for the segment – which is underscored by the project’s name, Unica.
ISA Unica 40M has certainly been developed with all the “family traits” of ISA yachts in mind, but based on the analysis of what modern yachting market can offer in terms of innovation, design, ergonomics and optimizing volumes.
Among the main competitive advantages of the model there are multifunctional interior spaces of generous volumes. The area of open decks is quite impressive, too. The aft recreation area is distributed over three levels, sloping towards the sea: a swimming platform and a beach, a pool and an open aft cockpit, where the glass balustrade opens a panoramic view.
Another spacious open recreation area is located on the upper deck forward and can be used both as a beach or as a place for entertainment.
The sundeck of almost 16 m is equipped with sunpads, a jacuzzi, a dining area and a bar.
The interiors were designed to guarantee maximum comfort on board and, above all, to optimize all the owner and guests’ needs. The master suite is located on the main deck forward. It includes an office, a bathroom, a lounge with a vanity table and a double walk-in wardrobe. The sliding door separates the bed from the rest of the apartment to ensure maximum privacy.
There are four double cabins below deck, two of which are VIPs with double beds. The crew quarters is meant for eight, and the captain’s cabin is next to the bridge.
ISA Unica 40M is powered by twin MTU engines, which can deliver a top speed of 20 knots and has a range of over 3000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 15 knots.
