Feadship has shared new details and photos of the recently unveiled Moonrise superyacht, previously known as Project 1013
It is not the first Feadship project named like this. In 2020 they already delivered a 99.95-metre Moonrise, and these two vessels actually have a lot in common. According to the shipyard, the new Moonrise has inherited the same “graceful design traits”, sleek exterior lines and a powerful vertical bow.

The similarity is largely due to the fact that the same Studio De Voogt team worked on their exteriors. The shipyard did not change the interior designer, Rémi Tessier, either, explaining it by the fact that the first Moonrise is considered one of the world’s most admired 100-metre yachts.
Even the colour palette is the same: both hulls are painted light grey, the superstructure is snow-white, and together with the dark glazing it makes the vessels look somewhat festive.

However, the second Moonrise is not just a copy of her predecessor, as she boasts a number of technological and design innovations highlighting her beauty and functionality.
Thus, thanks to the use of Starlink, she does not have the usual domes, which allowed for cleaner superstructure and a more aesthetic profile.
The mast is higher, and the sundeck that is home to a massage area, a gym and a hairdresser is more spacious. Besides, the open deck and swim platform area have been increased. Among other highlights of the new yacht, one should also mention the owner’s deck and the cinema on the bridgedeck.

The naval architecture by Feadship De Voogt Naval Architects has been optimised to ensure comfort both underway and at anchor. Special attention was paid to minimising noise levels, with the design of the propellers and appendages, as well as an innovative fully resilient-mounted anchor winch foundation.
The Moonrise has a length of 101 m, a beam of 15.50 m. The draft of this displacement vessel with a steel hull at full load is no more 4.20 m.
The Moonrise is currently undergoing further outfitting and will proceed with sea trials before her delivery to the owner.
