With her length of 194.9 metres, the REV Ocean expedition yacht is allegedly the largest in the world

The vessel was recently delivered from Norwegian Vard Søviknes, which started her construction, to Dutch Damen Shiprepair, which is to finalize her outfitting. The process is expected to take 15-18 months, and late in 2026 the REV Ocean is scheduled for delivery to her owner, Norwegian businessman, Kjell Inge Røkke.

Not long ago, the first interior renderings of the yacht were revealed, as there is a plan to make her available for charter, too. The REV Ocean will offer her guests 18 impressive cabins, a spa, a pool and a tennis court, but 75% of her time she will be used for scientific research and accommodate a team of up to 34 scientists.

One of the most impressive features on board the REV Ocean is her DSV Aurelia, which is an acrylic submersible capable of going down to incredible depths for deep-sea exploration. There is also a remotely operated vehicle named Aurora, designed to reach the depths of up to 6000 m.

The REV Ocean also features two helipads, and her diving centre boasts all kinds of equipment for diving in various conditions, including the most challenging ones.
