The competitions will be held in two locations on the Black Sea: Imeretinsky yacht port in the federal territory of Sirius and Sochi Grand Marina yacht club in Central Sochi
One can take part in any number of stages or in all of them to fight for the victory in the series. The races will be held for J/70 Class sport yachts. The format and program of the competition were designed with different levels of participants in mind.
The Sochi Winter Cup is good both for newbies and experienced sailors. The series consists of five stages, each of which comprises three racing days. At the end of the season the crew that becomes best as a result of five stages will get the Sochi Winter Cup. The races will be held at Sochi Grand Marina from December 5 to April 5.
The Winter Fun Race was created for beginner helmsmen looking to try their hand at sea. Crews with professional helmsmen can participate, but will get penalty points. One can take part in the competition as a team or as part of a mixed crew.
This series consists of five stages. In the final, teams receive double points, which increases their chances for the main trophy of the season, the challenge cup. The races will be held in the federal territory of Sirius, at Imeretinsky yacht port from November 28 to March 29.
