Dutch Holterman Shipyard has announced it has filed for bankruptcy

The shipyard founded in 1964 was in a similar situation back in 2012, but managed to restart soon after that. Over the years of its operation, Holterman Shipyard has produced dozens of amazing projects. One of them is the 33-metre Lady Fleur (the X-treme 105 model), launched in 2022, which features a five-metre pool that can go up and down to fill with sea water and serve as a tender lift at the same time.

The shipyard faced financial problems in the same 2022. One of the reasons is the halt in the incoming orders due to an increase in the prices for aluminum. At present there is a good chance that Holterman will be taken over, as the bankruptcy is still fresh and potential customers hope to retain as many employees as possible.
