About Pardo Yachts
The Pardo Yachts brand belongs to Italian Cantiere del Pardo shipyard. The production is based in Forli, near Bologna, in the region of Emilia-Romagna.
The story of Cantiere del Pardo started back in 1973 with the production of sailing yachts under the Grand Soleil brand. Over the years, the shipyard has collaborated with such renowned designers and studios as Judel&Vrolik, German Frers, Luca Brenta, Bruce Farr, which allowed the Grand Soleil to become one of the world’s top sailing yacht brands and win numerous trophies in prestigious regattas.
Having gained great experience in the sailing segment, in 2016 Cantiere del Pardo launched motor yacht production under the Pardo Yachts brand, which stood out for expressive design, superb performance and seaworthiness.
Highlights
The Pardo Yachts brand comprises three model ranges.
Walkaround range includes open sport cruisers of 12-16 m with a cockpit protected with a T-top, one or two cabins and a bathroom below deck.
GT (Grand Touring) includes performance coupe yachts of 16-23 m with an enclosed saloon on the main deck and two-four cabins.
E (Endurance) includes flybridge yachts over 18 m with three-four cabins. They stand out for moderate performance characteristics and are meant mainly for long-range cruises with economical fuel consumption.
All Pardo Yachts models are made of carbon and GRP composite reinforcements, glued and internally laminated to the hull to support areas of high loads. Regardless of the speed characteristics, Cantiere del Pardo prefers to power its yachts with Volvo IPS, which gives them impressive maneuverability, ease of handling and minimal noise.
The shipyard has its own test tank and 40 000 sq.m of covered facility area equipped with the state-of-the-art technologies and producing everything from hulls to interiors. Pardo Yachts has over 60 dealerships around the world and a network of authorized service centres in 25 countries.
