Princess F58: a new model in the flybridge range from Princess
At the boat show taking place on March 21-24 in Palm Beach (Florida, US) British Princess Yachts introduced a model in the F-class range, the all-new Princess F58
The first hull is to go into production quite soon, and the official world premiere is scheduled for 2025, which means it is likely to take place in January at boot Düsseldorf. However, even now Princess Yachts has revealed quite a few renderings of the new boat, as well as her key specifications.
Open decks
It is obvious that this model's focus is on the abundance of open deck space for outdoor relaxation. The idea behind the flybridge configuration is to maximize its central part.
In addition to a helm station and a sofa that can transform into a sunpad, there is a large dining area and a well-appointed wet bar, which was located aft to free even more space in the centre.
Another exterior space is the “terrace” on the foredeck, where there is a sofa and two sunpads with adjustable headrests. Finally, there is an aft cockpit, which is not just an al fresco dining area, but a kind of mini beach club.
The stairs on both sides connect the cockpit with a wide hydraulic bathing platform. The transom area features a waterside barbecue with a sink, which is not just nice, but quite convenient in terms of keeping it clean. There is a locker for water toys below it and a fold down seat.
Interior
The panoramic glazing of the saloon does not make you feel locked inside. By opening the aft doors one can unite this space with a cockpit. The galley is located right at the entrance, which is convenient, as it serves as a bar and connects two dining areas: inside the saloon and in the cockpit.
There is a lounge and a helm station on the starboard side forward. The dual helm seat with all the adjustements is quite high, which provides excellent visibility.
There are three cabins on the lower deck. There is a VIP cabin forward, another guest cabin to starboard that can be equipped with twin or double beds if necessary. The full-beam master suite is amidships, and it features a breakfast area, a walk-in wardrobe and a vast bathroom. There is a single aft crew cabin with a bathroom and storage.
Specifications
With a length of 18.2 m, the beam is 4.9 m, and the draft at full load is 1.54 m. Princess boats performance characteristics are always up to the mark: the F58 can reach a top speed of 34 knots with twin MAN V8 of 1000 hp each. The fuel capacity is 3300 litres, and the water capacity is 630 litres.
