Oceaya: world's first transformable entertainment centre on the water

Can one build concert venues, restaurants and cinemas on the water fast? Even if there were such cases before, they were more of an exception. Oceaya is about to change the idea of what floating entertainment can be like

Oceaya project, developed for Oceaya LLC by Finnish MEYER Floating Solutions company specializing in floating constructions, is a new step in leisure and entertainment on the water 

MEYER Floating Solutions formerly known for engineering diverse constructions from villas on the water to floating hotels and whole cities, introduced the project of a modular floating construction that can be adapted to various entertainment needs. 

The adaptive platform named Oceaya can cater to restaurants, bars and beach clubs, concert halls, fitness areas, cinemas and exhibition spaces, as well as house a number of events from festivals to fashion shows.

“With 'Oceaya', we are once again pushing the boundaries within the floating solutions market, going beyond what has previously been achieved. This collaboration is crafting an unprecedented experience in the luxury waterfront sector by adopting best practices from various industries," claims Kaj Casén, CEO of MEYER Floating Solutions. 

According to Oceaya creators, the project's scalable modular design provides customizable spaces for various  events and can adjust in size from 370 sq.m to over 1115 sq.m. Oceaya can be installed in any waters protected from strong waves and winds. And it is not just a project: they promise to demonstrate the first “floating entertainment centre” in 2025.

Famous architects and designers, including the specialists from Waterstudio.NL and Prospect Design International, were involved in Oceaya development. The project is absolutely compliant with the idea of sustainable development and minimal environmental impact, and is positioned by the creators as a “beacon of eco-friendly luxury”.

MEYER has consistently stood out as the vanguard in engineering and building innovative projects. This collaboration marks a pivotal moment in bringing Oceaya to life,” concluded Daniels Ikajevs.
