The Residence Collection from Princess Yachts features handcrafted mattresses, made-to-order bed linen, towels and upholstery materials
The purpose of the new collection is to become a harmonious complement for each yacht’s interior design with bedding, linens and finishes before the yacht is delivered and save owners the trouble of selecting and purchasing them themselves.
The linens, duvets, pillows and towels will be produced by some of the oldest English companies, Heirlooms and Peter Reed, which are also Royal Warrant holders. The owners will be offered 570-thread-count cotton sateen or pure linen bedding made to individual dimensions.
Plymouth-based Vispring has been making hand-crafted mattresses since 1901, using traditional production methods and hand-nested pocket springs with layers of such natural materials as wool, silk, bamboo, horsetail, cotton and cashmere.
The Superior Luxury Vispring mattresses feature additional layers of hand-teased Shetland wool and a pure wool ticking for a softer feel and comfortable temperature.
The Residence Collection also includes upholstery fabrics and leather finishes both for interior and exterior spaces, selected for their durability and ability to complement the yacht’s interior colour scheme.
