About Arcadia Yachts Sherpa 60

Named after the Himalayan guides and carriers that are indispensable for mountain climbing, the Sherpa 60 is capable of carrying lots of water toys, as well as being an independent boat

It is hard to refer this yacht to any of the conventional categories, as this crossover may perform completely different roles. For instance, she can carry equipment as a support vessel, or be an open weekend boat, or a boat for parties, or even a yacht for small family expeditions to explore the nearby bays and surroundings.

The Sherpa 60’s main feature is her open aft of 50 sq.m, which can house lounges, dining areas, sunpads or can be left free for carrying equipment or a generous collection of water toys. There is a garage for a tender and a jet ski and some other water equipment below deck.

Almost all of the boat is a multi-level terrace at water level. The flybridge with the only helm station features a galley and a lounge area with a sofa and a table that can be turned into a dining room. By the way, the flybridge can be totally closed with the help of up&down side windows and turn into a kind of skylounge then.

The compact lower deck may house either one or two cabins. If there is one cabin, then there will be a small lounge on the starboard side, and if there are two cabins, then in addition to the master on the port side there will be a cabin with twin beds. There is also an option of an extra head.

The shipyard offers a few options of Volvo Penta IPS. With standard 435 hp IPS 600 the Sherpa 60 can achieve a top speed of 19.5 knots, and has a range of about 450 nautical miles at 10 knots. The solar panels are capable of providing up to 3.4 kW that can be used for onboard household equipment, lighting, etc.

The Sherpa 60 was awarded the World Yachts Trophies 2016 as the most innovative yacht in her category, and became the Boat of the Year 2016.
