 The Pershing 5X is a hardtop yacht manufactured by Italian Pershing Yachts introduced in 2016

The length of the boat is 16.51 m, the beam is 4.38 m, and the draft is 1.35 m.

The model is the result of collaboration between Ferretti Group’s Engineering Department, Product Strategy Committee, and Fulvio De Simoni Design Studio. The planing hull is made of fiberglass, the superstructure is of carbon.

The main deck houses a saloon with a helm station. The Pershing 5X provides sleeping accommodation for four guests in two cabins, including a full-beam master cabin and a forward VIP cabin with ensuite bathrooms. The lower deck contains a galley and a dinette. Upon the owner’s request, the dinette can be replaced with a third cabin with bunk beds or a crew cabin. 

There are open recreation areas in the aft cockpit and on the foredeck. The transom can be moved with the help of an  electro-hydraulic system, which allows to lower it into the water at various heights, down to about 60 cm, simplifying the launch of the tender that is stored in the aft garage. 

The Pershing 5X is available in two engine configurations. With twin 725 hp Volvo IPS950 D11 the yacht can reach a maximum speed of 36 knots. Alternatively, one may opt for twin 1000 hp CAT 12.9 engines with Top System 75X surface drives that provide a cruising speed of 41 knots and a top speed of 45 knots.
