German Naval Yards (GNY) from Germany, Swisship Yacht Projects from Great Britain and Pascoli International from Monaco have taken part in the development of Project Koa
The partnership is based on the GNY’s experience building large and quite technically ambitious yachts. The yard, which is part of the European CMN Naval group, is best inown for its work on the iconic 142.8-metre sailing yacht A. In October 2025 it also took over the 114.1-metre Arwen previously known as Project Elf from Dörries Yachts.
The Koa’s exterior stands out for a strict, architectural profile and large expanses of glazing all around the upper decks. The colour choice is classic: the hull is navy blue, the superstructure is white and the decks are teak.
“The intent was to create a design that feels clean, timeless and highly functional, while offering dramatic interior volumes and interconnected spaces," said Swisship Yacht Projects' owner, Andreas Iseli. "The seamless flow from the beach club up to the double-height lounge, combined with advanced hybrid propulsion, reflects how we believe future large yachts will be experienced.”
With a length of 93 m, a beam of 14.6 m and a draft of 4 m, the vessel’s internal volume is 3,500 GT.
Under a compact hardtop with a radar mast, there is a bar on the sundeck. The bridgdeck is versatile, with a helm station, captain’s cabin and office forward and the owner’s apartment with a private terrace aft.
All of the upper deck is meant for relaxation: there is a spa complex with hairdressing and massage rooms, a wet spa and a relaxation lounge overlooking the bow spa pool.
The main deck is home to six guest suites. Four of them can be united into two large VIP-cabins with adjoining lounges. каюты, дополненные гостиными. There is a full-beam garage at the bow, capable of accommodating two 10-metre tenders, a 6.2-metre crew boat and a variety of water toys.
All the aft section of the vessel is dedicated to recreation area, connected connected to the terrace on the upper deck with the help of a double-height atrium staircase that looks floating. The key highlight here is the pool with a see-through bottom, allowing the sun rays to reach the spaces below, including the beach club, located next to a gym and watersports and dive centre.
The Koa’s propulsion system is based on a proven hybrid platform with twin MAN engines and two 450kW PTO/PTI systems of 450 kW each, delivering silent cruising at about 11 knots and a top speed of up to 18 knots.
A 3MW Corvus battery pack will ensure peak-load shaving, silent manoeuvring and a quiet mode at anchor. Two extendable fins and a set of Maglifts will eliminate drag and provide optimal stabilisation.
