Dutch Heesen Yachts shipyard has announced the launch of the 55-metre Project Venus, now known as Solemates
At present the superyacht is about to enter the stage of commissioning and sea trials in the North Sea, after which she will be delivered to her owner in Q2 2025.
One should note here that there are a lot of famous superyachts named Solemates, including the 60-metre Lürssen, the 52-metre Feadship and the 36-metre Mulder. There is nothing surprising about it, as the new Solemates (Project Venus) was built for a "distinguished yacht connoisseur" and Heesen’s repeat client.
The Solemates features a Fast Displacement Hull Form, which allows her to reach a speed of 15-16 knots. The yacht’s internal volume is 760 GT, which provides lots of space on board and allows for the owner’s suite of 82 sq.m. Among the al fresco areas there is a spacious sundeck with a jacuzzi and a beach club with a bar, a sauna and direct access to the water.
The superyacht’s custom interiors are owed to Silvia Margutti from Italian Luca Dini Design and Architecture studio. She opted for the “marine” colour palette, including all kinds of blue, teal and aquamarine hues. One of the yacht’s standout features is the main staircase, adorned with gold flakes and crystals. The official premiere of the new Solemates will take place in September 2025 at the Monaco Yacht Show.
