Pershing Yachts has announced that the fourth unit of its largest 43.4-metre Pershing 140 model has been launched at the yard in Ancona
Created in collaboration with designer and architect Fulvio de Simoni, this is the brand’s first model to be built of aluminium and not of composite materials.
The Pershing 140 is powered by four MTU 16 V 2000 M96L of 2600 hp each, and her performance characteristics are a clear indication of how sporty this model is despite her impressive size. Her cruising speed is 30 knots, and her top speed is 36 knots.
The Pershing 140 also stands out for incredible onboard comfort, luxurious interior and unusual layout solutions. The yacht has two decks and an ample sundeck with an extra upper helm station. The main helm is in a raised pilothouse, located between the main deck and the flybridge.
The model boasts flexible layouts, and that is the reason all the Pershings 140 are so different. For example, the fourth unit features a day head on the main deck aft. The bar cabinet has been moved from the entrance to the lobby on the starboard side of the yacht near the stairs down to the cabins on the lower deck. At the owner’s request it can be covered with turquoise lacquering and become another unique decorative element. The owner of this fourth hull has also chosen to personalise the yacht’s interior with nature-themed decorative panels in the lobby and the lounge. They feature special three-dimensional fabrics.
Neutral colours have been chosen for the master suite on the main deck, while the four guest cabins below deck feature different finishes: beige palette for the VIP-cabins, and grey and blue for the two twin cabins designed for children. Each cabin has an ensuite bathroom in relevant colours. It is worth mentioning that the furniture is covered with special 3D-effect lacquering featuring handcrafted patterns.
