The Atlantique 47 model designed by renowned Hot Lab studio, is a significant new stage in the development of Italian Columbus Yachts shipyard
The model’s naval architecture was developed in-house. The Acqua Chiara, which is the first yacht in the series, has a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure. With a length of 47 m and a beam of 9.1 her draft is only 2.4 m, and her internal volume was designed not to exceed the volume of 499 GT, so as not to make the classification and operation of the yacht a lot more difficult and expensive.
As with the entire Atlantique range, which currently includes four models from 37 to 55 metres, the focal element of the Atlantique 47’s design is her stern line that resembles a sailboat. This section of the boat offers three levels of exterior spaces: a dining area sheltered from the sun and rain, a lounge with a pool and fold-down balconies, and a transformable swim platform located just 50 cm above the water. The second pool is located on the main deck forward.
The interiors feature a modern urban style with a combination of materials in visual and sensorial contrast: leather and white and dark marble, glass and mosaic in different shades and patterns.
The master cabin is located on the main deck forward. Below deck, there are four double ensuite guest cabins finished in marble and mosaic. Four more cabins for a crew of eight are on the lower deck forward, while the captain’s cabin is on the upper deck to ensure fast and easy access to the wheelhouse.
The garage on the starboard side can accommodate a 5-metre tener. There is another garage for another tender and a couple of jet skis at the bow. Twin engines of 1350 hp each deliver a top speed of 15.5 knots. The range at a cruising speed of 12 knots is 3400 nautical miles.
